"And I ask again, did she tell you that or give you any hint that she was uncomfortable with you? Women of nearly any species may not always say as such, but they're usually pretty clear when they're not comfortable in a situation," Coran reiterated, more gently that time as he reached to touch Keith's arm in an attempt to grab his attention, "It may have been a surprise, considering the two of you were not like that before in her memories. It could even be that she doesn't know how to approach you now that the storm's over, and she might be waiting for you to talk to her about what happened."
"Well, that's great, but how am I supposed to do that? 'Hey, I'm sorry for the Galra version of me forcing himself on you, I hope you don't hate me?'" Keith's tone is sarcastic but there's a tone of helplessness there too. He's totally unsure about how he's supposed to go about this - all he knows is that he wants to, to make it right, to make it so Adela doesn't mind being around him again.
"Well, that depends. Is this the first time something like this has happened? A reality storm that has forced you to act a certain way, even if you never would normally?" He asked, wanting clarity for something. If it's the first time, it'll be a little more difficult, but if not then just maybe...
".... well, last year's Valentine's Day storm caused her to kiss me. Well, more like kiss each other. She seemed to be more upset about it then I was, especially since it was my first one."
Which Keith never quite understood - it was a kiss. He'd seen people do them all the time? Why was the first one so special?
"So, would you say she was feeling guilty for acting not like herself towards you in a romantic fashion, even though you recognize in its entirety that it was not her fault in the least?"
Coran raised a brow at that, his lips quirking up beneath his moustache before he began to elaborate, "What makes you so sure she won't be thinking the same way, Keith? From the sounds of it, she would know better than to think that is how you would act all of the time, at least unprovoked. It's worth talking to her about it, no matter how hard it might seem or how scared you might be."
He paused, taking a moment before asking, "But, I think you should ask yourself one very important question first. How do you feel about her now, now that it is all said and done? Do you think those feelings you held were purely the product of the reality storm, or is there something more to them for you than that?"
